Punche de Crème, coquito or Haitian Kremas is a milk based alcohol drink similar to eggnog, if you like eggnog you will love these recipes. In Haiti we serve this as a dessert also.
Eggnog is traditionally consumed throughout Canada and the United States around Thanksgiving and Christmas.
YOU WILL NEED:
3 eggs 1 can evaporated
1 can unsweetened coconut milk
1 can condensed milk ½ cup Bailey’s Irish cream
1-cup light rum 1-teaspoon vanilla extract
1-teaspoon Angostura bitter
s ½ teaspoon grated nutmeg to garnish
In a medium bowl beat eggs for about 1 minute
In a blender add beaten eggs, evaporated milk, coconut milk, and condensed milk, blend ingredients together for 1 minute
Then add the rum, Bailey’s Irish cream, Angostura bitters and vanilla extract, blend for 30 seconds
Chill before serving or Serve over crushed ice and garnish with grated nutmeg
